The Florence at Midnight ring design was inspired by the Red Cross emblem which represents care and protection.
This ring pays homage to a trail-blazing English woman, Florence Nightingale, 'the lady with the lamp' who was known for checking on wounded soldiers late at night during the Crimean war in 1854. Florence was known as the 'mother of modern nursing', a social reformer and a statistician.
