The Follow the Swallow designed Sheriff Signet Ring was inspired by the North American Sheriff's badge. Historically, the sheriff's badge was a symbol of local authority.
The star shape was chosen because the sheriff's badge was originally cut out of tin cans and it was easier to cut out a star than a circle or a shield shape.
The five points of the star represent core values and qualities associated with law enforcement, such as justice, integrity, courage, leadership, and service.
The Follow the Swallow Sheriff's Signet Ring symbolises powerful principles and the notion that the wearer has authority over their own life.
